How do I connect Splitcam with VXLive?

If you experience image artifacts or "pixelation" in your stream, you can use the additional software Splitcam to improve quality and optimize your webcam connection with VXLive.

Follow this step-by-step guide to set up Splitcam correctly:

Step 1: Download and Install Splitcam

Download Splitcam and install the latest version on your computer.

Step 2: Start VXLive

Open your VXLive software and start a new chat session.

Step 3: Open Webcam Setup

Go to the settings in VXLive and select "Webcam Setup".

Step 4: Enable Third-Party Streaming Software

Click on "Stream with third-party software" to allow VXLive to connect with external tools.

Step 5: Select Splitcam

Choose "OBS, Splitcam, or XSplit". VXLive will then provide you with the server information and stream key you will need in Splitcam. Keep this page open so you can copy the details easily.

Step 6: Open Stream Settings in Splitcam

Launch Splitcam and navigate to Stream Settings. Click "Add channel".

Step 7: Choose VISIT-X as Streaming Destination

In Splitcam, select VISIT-X as your streaming platform.
If VISIT-X is not listed, choose "Custom", then click "Continue" to open the manual input fields.

Step 8: Enter Server and Stream Key

Copy the server URL and stream key from VXLive and paste them into the corresponding fields in Splitcam.
Important: These details are specific to your account and different from any examples or screenshots.

Save the settings by clicking "Save and close".

Step 9: Go Live in Splitcam

Press "Go Live" in Splitcam to start streaming.

Step 10: Go Online in VXLive

Return to VXLive and click "GO ONLINE" to activate your stream.
